About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Senior Human Factors Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in human factors and ergonomics, with experience working on complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities will include designing and evaluating user interfaces, developing human machine interface (HMI) solutions, and conducting user trials to assess the usability and effectiveness of our products.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our company's human factors strategy, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance our product designs.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent technical skills, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication skills.

You should have a deep understanding of human factors principles, human computer interaction (HCI), and user experience (UX) design methodologies, as well as experience working with 3D computer-aided design (CAD) tools and immersive virtual reality (VR) technologies.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including a pension scheme, annual leave allowance, and access to professional development opportunities.
