About the Opportunity:
We're looking for an experienced Human Factors Project Lead to join our dynamic team. As a key player in this high-profile infrastructure project, you'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of ergonomics and human factors into the design, development, and operations of the transportation system. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and human-centered design, you'll work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver a world-class outcome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple contractors to ensure ergonomics requirements are met in line with project specifications.
  • Provide technical expertise and assurance on ergonomics to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the integration of human performance into the design and operational processes.
  • Analyse and predict the impact of new technologies on human behavior, especially in high-performance environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to minimise risks and optimise safety and performance.
  • Develop operational models that account for human factors in both system and organisational design.

Your Qualifications:

  • Chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF), or equivalent experience.
  • Deep understanding of railway engineering, health & safety, and system safety.
  • Financial and commercial knowledge of Human Factors contracts.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits Package
