Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Care Support Specialist to join our Residential Care Homes team at Service Care Solutions. As a Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing support to older adults living with dementia and/or physical disabilities.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering personalized care services, adhering to individual support plans. They will also take on a key worker role for allocated service users, ensuring their unique needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver High-Quality Care: The Care Support Specialist will deliver high-quality care services that meet the individual needs of service users. This includes delivering personalized care plans, administering medication as required, and supporting service users with their health needs.
- Key Worker Role: The successful candidate will take on a key worker role for allocated service users, ensuring their unique needs are met. This includes conducting risk assessments, mental capacity evaluations, and best-interest decisions that address service user requirements.
- Maintain Accurate Records: The Care Support Specialist will maintain accurate records of daily activities and support plans. This includes documenting service user progress, updating care plans, and communicating with the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Experience: We require a minimum of [Estimated Salary £16-18 per hour] experience working in a similar care setting.
- Vocational Qualifications: Vocational qualifications, such as NVQ 2 or equivalent, are desirable.
- Manual Handling Techniques: Familiarity with specialist equipment and manual handling techniques is essential.
