Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Assistant to join our team in supporting students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Autism. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and a passion for working with individuals with special needs.

As a Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver personalized learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist students with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
* Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting social interaction and independence, and helping them develop essential life skills
* Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that align with students' learning objectives, ensuring their academic and personal growth
* Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and share best practices, maintaining open lines of communication with colleagues and stakeholders
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance, utilizing data to inform teaching practices and optimize student outcomes

Requirements:
* 2+ years of experience working with students with special needs, preferably in an educational setting
* A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or a related field (or equivalent), with a strong emphasis on child development and behavior management
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease
* Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring the smooth operation of daily routines and activities
