Job Summary

The School is an exceptional educational establishment that caters to students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Autism. Located in South Gloucestershire, the school offers a supportive environment for both primary and secondary age groups.

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals. This role will provide outstanding support to our students, fostering their learning and development.

About Us:

Our school has small classes based on developmental stages, ensuring each student receives tailored attention and care. Our facilities are excellent, providing a stimulating and safe environment for our students to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide one-to-one support to students with special needs, assisting them with their daily routines and activities.
  • To work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop individualized education plans for each student.
  • To maintain a safe and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid first aid training and certification.

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week. The salary range reflects the level of experience and qualifications required for this role.
