Job Summary
As part of a reception team supporting a busy Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), you will be the first point of contact for service users, families, and visitors to the service, utilizing effective communication skills to facilitate access to services.
Providing a welcoming and friendly service, you will be responsible for dealing with all incoming calls, emails, and voicemail messages for the Service, and taking accurate messages as necessary.
Main Duties
Key responsibilities include dealing with incoming telephone calls, emails, and voicemail messages, diverting appropriately or taking accurate messages, and liaising with the wider admin team and/or management as required.
You will also be responsible for facilitating the smooth running of reception, providing admin support to clinics, and maintaining accurate patient records.

The South Adult Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) provides support to adults living in the south of Sheffield who have complex or ongoing mental health needs, promoting recovery, independence, and overall wellbeing.
Job Responsibilities
Additional responsibilities include scanning, photocopying, and shredding service user documents as required, working with the Admin/Building Manager/Team Co-ordinators to report maintenance defects, and collecting and distributing internal and external mail.
You will also be responsible for arranging staff appointments and meetings, responding to verbal complaints, and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
