About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for optimising contract profitability, providing quotations to clients, and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of residential groundworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimise contract profitability through effective cost management and risk assessment
  • Provide accurate quotations to clients for variations, ensuring timely and competitive pricing
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of residential groundworks, including materials, methods, and best practices
  • Produce accurate monthly cost and value reports, facilitating informed business decisions
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential groundworks
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Familiarity with value engineering principles and techniques
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
