Maintenance Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a manufacturing facility based near Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by responding effectively to equipment breakdowns, carrying out scheduled maintenance work, and being proactive in correcting and modifying recurring machine processing faults.
Key Responsibilities- Support the manufacturing process by responding to equipment breakdowns and carrying out scheduled maintenance work.
- Be proactive in correcting and modifying recurring machine processing faults.
- Train operational team members to perform minor maintenance tasks and assist in major repairs.
- Reduce engineering downtime and continuously improve the process and department.
- A time-served engineering apprenticeship is ideal.
- A background in Food/FMCG/Packaging Manufacturing is a distinct advantage.
