Housing Officer Role

We are seeking a dedicated Housing Officer to join our team at Service Care Solutions Ltd in Staines, UK. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring access to safe and stable accommodation for vulnerable members of the community.

The estimated salary for this position is £18.00 per hour (PAYE), based on 35 hours per week. You will be working face-to-face with tenants and rough sleepers to assess needs and provide tailored housing solutions.

This dynamic role requires a hands-on approach, engaging with complex situations and providing compassionate support. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular patch visits across Westminster to assess needs and provide housing solutions.
  • Effectively managing Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) cases, taking swift action to protect residents' safety and well-being.
  • Working closely with local authorities, outreach teams, and housing providers to facilitate access to services and support for individuals transitioning into stable housing.
  • Carrying out needs assessments and risk evaluations, creating personalised support plans to achieve greater independence and security.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on key performance indicators.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Proven experience in a similar role in social housing or support environments.
  • Experience working with rough sleepers and vulnerable adults, particularly in complex situations.
  • A full UK driving licence and own vehicle required for regular travel across Westminster.
