About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Lincolnshire County Council as a senior leader in our Adult Care Services department. As the Head of Adult Safeguarding Services, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SARs) and Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHRs) on behalf of Adult Care
  • Support multi-agency learning and development initiatives
  • Lead high-profile operational teams, including the central team of safeguarding professionals and the Council's Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) service
  • Establish leadership cultures that embody respect, authenticity, and proactiveness
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in social care or health care, with a management qualification or significant experience at a senior level. You will also need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to provide expert advice, and a strong understanding of relevant legislation and statutory guidance.
