Head of Adult Safeguarding Services

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Adult Safeguarding Services, working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in Lincolnshire.
As Head of Adult Safeguarding Services, you will be responsible for leading on Safeguarding Adult Reviews (SARs) and Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHRs), as well as contributing to Quality and Practice Audits. You will work closely with lead professionals to inform practice development and establish leadership cultures that embody respect, authenticity, and proactiveness.
The role involves leading a central team of safeguarding professionals who respond to over 3,500 Adult Safeguarding concerns per annum, as well as the Council's Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) service, which undertakes Mental Health Act assessments for all ages and provides an out-of-hours emergency social care response.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Social or Health Care qualification and current registration, along with a management qualification or significant experience at a suitable level. You will also need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to provide expert advice, and a strong understanding of relevant legislation and statutory guidance.
