Job Title: Communications and Deployment Coordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Communications and Deployment Coordinator. This role is responsible for receiving bookings and coordinating the safe transportation of service users by a national team of Mental Health Transport Assistants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide logistical support to MHTA's and internal and external stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Dispatch crews to bookings with due consideration to patient care and risk assessments.
  • Maintain proficiency in the use of IT systems, including command and control systems and mapping software.
  • Accurately record all information provided by clients when taking bookings.
  • Record operational data and assist in the accurate recording of metrics for Handover and Control Room reporting.
  • Handle complaints and compliments professionally and escalate as appropriate.
  • Support the creation and implementation of crew rotas.
  • Ensure Company Standard Operating Procedures and Policies are followed.
  • Ensure regulatory obligations, policies, and procedures are adhered to at all times.
Key Requirements:
  • Maintain Enhanced DBS.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to problem-solve efficiently.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
