Community Vaccinator

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a skilled and experienced Community Vaccinator to join our expanding immunisation team.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver immunisations to school-aged children in a variety of settings, including primary, secondary, and independent schools, as well as other community venues.
- Collaborate with schools, parents, and other healthcare professionals to promote immunisation uptake and develop strong relationships with community partners to increase access to immunisation services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of immunisation policies and procedures, and participate in regular training and study days to maintain and develop knowledge and skills.

Essential:
- Registered Clinician with awareness of National and Local policies, especially those relating to school health nursing and immunisations for school-aged children.
- Experience of delivering health promotion and working with children and families.
Desirable:
- Experience of inter-agency working and delivering Immunisation programmes.
Essential:
- Adaptable and flexible approach to the delivery of the service, with ability to travel between sites.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills of IT and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
