About the Role
NHS 24 is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Call Operator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals, ensuring that our service is delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and audit patient data within our Patient Management system, escalating any issues or concerns to ensure the smooth transition of patient care.
- Undertake general administrative duties as instructed, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Ensure full adherence to processes and protocols at all times, maintaining the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality.
- Escalate any issues or concerns immediately, seeking guidance from senior colleagues as needed.
- Utilize effective communication skills to extract accurate information from patients and carers, adapting to individual needs and circumstances.
Requirements
- Education to National 5/Standard Grade or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Computer literacy and good keyboard skills, with the ability to learn new systems and software.

- A competitive salary package, including a permanent contract on Band 2 £24,647 - £26,763* per annum (pro rata for part-time hours).
- A comprehensive training programme, lasting 2 weeks, to ensure you have the skills and knowledge required for the role.
