Independent Living Support Worker

The individual we support enjoys going into the local area and exploring, visiting the local coffee shop, and spending time people watching. They enjoy chatting and getting to know people, and want to build on their independence skills. We are looking for a Independent Living Support Worker who can provide support and assistance with daily living tasks, promote independence, and encourage participation in activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
* Promote independence by supporting the individual in making choices and decisions
* Encourage the individual to participate in activities and pursue their interests
* Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the individual and other stakeholders
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with individuals with autism or learning disabilities
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Enhanced DBS check required
Salary:
The hourly rate for this role is £13 per day hours. An enhanced hourly rate applies on all Bank Holidays.
