The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resettlement and Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing hostel-based services and coordinating support to rough sleepers with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and support vulnerable individuals to address their housing and employment needs
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to promote independence and self-sufficiency
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure seamless service delivery and effective case management
  • Provide guidance and support to clients with complex needs, including those with mental health issues or substance abuse problems
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of program policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Relevant experience working with homeless populations or vulnerable individuals
  • Strong understanding of the causes of homelessness and effective strategies for prevention and intervention
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Basic knowledge of relevant legislation, including welfare benefits and housing law
