Job Title: Secondary Education Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Teacher to provide support to students of secondary age in a variety of subjects. As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for assisting students in their academic pursuits and providing a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with students of all ability ranges, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Run intervention sessions and booster groups to support students who require additional support
  • Be involved in running extracurricular activities to enhance student engagement and motivation

Requirements:

  • No previous education experience is required, but a passion for teaching and learning is essential
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training is desirable, but not essential
  • Hold a valid Right to Work in the UK and an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Provide two professional references
