Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Workforce Development to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring we drive the short and longer-term people priorities to support our Trust's ambition.

You will work closely with the Associate Director of People and the Hospital Executive team to achieve this goal.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, as well as people management training.

You will also promote the equality and diversity agenda and prepare, analyse and present reports.

Requirements
  • Significant recent operational HR experience including leadership and management.
  • Experience of leading the workforce elements of local change and transformation programmes.
  • Experience in applying a business partner approach to develop services and provide solutions to complex people issues.

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
