Clinical Embryologist Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Embryologist to lead our Embryology and Andrology laboratories. As a senior HCPC-registered scientist, you will be responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, developing and implementing new treatments and protocols, and contributing to research projects and staff training.
Main Duties of the JobAbout the Role:
- Provide expert clinical and scientific leadership to the laboratory team.
- Manage laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with HFEA standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement new treatments and protocols, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in reproductive medicine.
- Oversee staff training and development, ensuring that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Manage the laboratory budget and contribute to strategic planning, ensuring that the laboratory operates efficiently and effectively.
- Enhance patient care and lead research initiatives, working closely with clinical colleagues and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Embryologist with a strong track record of leadership and management. You will have a Master's degree in a relevant subject, a minimum of 5 years' post-HCPC registration experience as a clinical scientist, and evidence of continuing professional development.
You will have a strong expertise in embryology, quality management, and regulatory compliance, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to motivate and inspire other team members, work effectively in a complex and changing environment, and make confident, independent decisions.
