We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Belmond Trains & Cruises. This is a unique opportunity to shape the employee experience and drive business success in our fast-paced and demanding environment.

About the Role:

This role will play a key part in shaping the employee experience, focusing on our Trains & Cruises Divisional Office and one of our iconic London-based luxury trains. The successful candidate will lead and develop a small team, driving extraordinary results behind the scenes to ensure our employees enjoy just as many memorable moments as our guests.

  • Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and absence management issues. They will also have experience of working within a fast-paced and demanding environment, with excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies that support business objectives and foster a positive employee experience.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on all HR matters, acting as a trusted advisor and consultant.
  • Managing complex employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing talent acquisition, development, and performance management processes, ensuring the right people are in the right roles.
  • Managing the HR budget and resources effectively, including payroll budget preparation.
  • Maintaining compliance with UK employment law and Belmond's internal policies.
  • Overseeing the Office Manager & HR Coordinator, ensuring smooth office operations and team development.
  • Contributing to divisional HR projects and deputising for the Divisional Director of HR as needed.
