Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to oversee our financial operations at Active management centre ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting department, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth.

Duties

  1. Oversee all aspects of the accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  2. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  3. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial reporting.
  4. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
  6. Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero for efficient financial management.
  7. Prepare tax returns and ensure timely payments of taxes owed.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role.
  2. Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms.
  3. Experience with financial management and reporting processes.
  4. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position working night shifts.
