**Job Title:** Specialist Support Worker

**Location:** Lancaster, UK

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Specialist Support Worker in an award-winning College located in Lancaster.

The successful candidate will undertake education support duties and assist the class teacher in the day-to-day needs of the pupils in their care, enabling the teacher to implement the curriculum and respond to the pupils' needs.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing education support to pupils with learning disabilities
  • Assisting the class teacher in implementing the curriculum and responding to pupils' needs
  • Picking up and dropping off pupils from the residential service and taking them to and from school

**Requirements:

  • A desire to create positive outcomes for children with learning disabilities
  • An empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK

**Salary:** £19,600 per year
