Customer Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Customer Support Specialist to join our Specialist Customer Support Team at Capital One - UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our customers who are experiencing difficulties with their credit card accounts.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in effective and impactful conversations with customers to understand their individual circumstances and agree on a suitable solution from a range of options that will support them.
- Utilize industry regulation and Capital One policies to provide informed and empathetic support to customers.
- Remain customer-focused and prioritize their needs in every decision.
- Support customers through challenging and sensitive situations, taking into account any vulnerabilities.
- Signpost customers to additional support resources and use your judgment to assess the right outcome for each customer.
- A natural problem solver with a focus on getting the right outcomes for our customers.
- Resilience is key, as this role can be challenging at times, particularly when dealing with sensitive situations.
- A team player who acts with integrity and treats customers and associates with respect.
- First-hand experience within the finance industry is desirable, but not essential.
- A great communicator with a passion for giving the best advice to every customer through empathy and advocacy.
- A competitive salary of £27,000.

During your training, you will be based in the office, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30. Once you have completed your training, you will move onto a rotating shift pattern, including Saturdays, with an additional set day off during the week. You will also have the opportunity to work from home, with a requirement to come into the office for a day every two weeks for team building and collaboration.
