Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Staff Nurse to join our team at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Endoscopy Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing care in the clinical area as an effective member of the team.
  • Establishing a safe working environment for patients and staff.
  • Coordinating the reception, admission, transfer, and nurse-led discharge of patients.
  • Acting as a team leader and coordinating the utilization of staff and Endoscopy lists.
  • Providing competent assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

As a successful candidate, you will have recent acute hospital experience, be able to work flexibly across sites, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
