About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our East Lancashire District Nursing Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Clinical Team Leader/Team Sister in the coordination and delivery of care in line with District Nursing Strategy nationally and locally.
- Visit patients daily in their own homes and provide high-quality nursing care to a range of patients with varying healthcare needs.
- Provide a high standard of holistic assessment and care, including wound management, health promotion, medicines management, and end-of-life care.
- Work contracted hours rotationally across day and night shifts, as reasonably required by the needs of the service.
Requirements
- Professional qualification - RGN
- Multi-disciplinary working experience
- Experience of community working
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the service and work independently
- Knowledge of Professional and NHS issues
- Clinical knowledge and skills
