About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Richmond, providing flexible and individually tailored support packages to vulnerable individuals. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to enable them to maintain their tenancy, stay well, exercise choice and control in their care and lives, and participate in the community.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives while developing your skills and knowledge in a dynamic environment. As a Support Worker, you will undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader/Manager, conduct initial and continuous assessments of needs and potential risks, and create support/action plans to provide appropriate services based on the assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and continuous assessments of needs and potential risks
  • Create support/action plans to provide appropriate services based on the assessment
  • Build supportive, trusting relationships with customers
  • Work proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities

$14,582 per annum (based on 20 hours per week)

About You

We are looking for someone who enjoys social interaction and the company of others, is approachable and open in their behaviour, and prefers working as part of a group or team. The ideal candidate will be fundamentally calm and resilient, have a practical and logical mind, and thrive on change and diverse environments.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Up to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, or experience in the social care/charity sector
