Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Care & Support: Assist with personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Building Relationships: Develop meaningful relationships with the individuals you support, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Empowering Independence: Assist with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encourage creative exploration.
  • Social Engagement: Support activities such as holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone can enjoy their interests.
  • Respect & Dignity: Ensure the individuals and their families are treated with respect, dignity, and equality.
About the Role:

This is a full-time, permanent position, and you will be required to work a shift rota basis, including evenings and weekends. You will need to have a valid full UK manual driving license and be willing to drive alternative vehicles.
