About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Portfolio Manager to join our Product and Standards team in a permanent, full-time capacity.

The successful candidate will work closely with the L&D senior leadership team to design, develop, and grow Learning and Development with a differentiated product offering.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for the creative and collaborative process of growing a market-leading portfolio of products and expediting new product opportunities according to the latest trends and market demand.

You will work in a customer-centric environment with a team of product managers, instructional designers, assessment specialists, and marketing professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting the product vision and defining the overall strategy from launch to scale.
  • Conducting regular market research and engagement to stay up-to-date with new and existing markets.
  • Understanding the environment BCS Learning Development operates within, including policies and regulations that impact our development and delivery.
  • Determining product market demands, creating product requirement specifications, and establishing long-term goals to develop the product strategy.
  • Building and owning strategic partnerships and relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders to drive growth.
  • Maintaining workable interaction with the market, clients, key stakeholders, and team members.
  • Communicating product features and functions to cross-functional teams at all levels clearly.
  • Participating actively in the product development lifecycle.
  • Managing the product lifecycle from planning to development and addressing issues.
  • Working with the product development team lead to ensure the availability of all required resources.
  • Collaborating with the product development team and cross-functional teams to deliver and develop products that meet requirements, are doable, and sustainable.
  • Creating and overseeing the delivery of go-to-market support material and training.
  • Developing promotion strategies with the marketing team to deliver the core features of the product and drive engagement and acquisition.
  • Being the public champion for BCS Learning and Development solutions.
  • Establishing credibility throughout the customer and partner network.
  • Complying with government agenda, regulators, clients, and BCS quality policies and procedures.

We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible individual who can adjust responsibilities as required by their Line Manager/Divisional Director.
