We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Consultant to join our team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our senior clinical and management team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of nursing practice within our Community Mental Health services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have significant clinical experience and a proven track record of leadership, change management, and innovation. You will be responsible for providing expert clinical practice, professional leadership and consultancy, education, training, and development of staff, as well as research and service evaluation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical practice within the service, including undertaking training and taking on the Responsible Clinician role in practice.
- Lead on professional leadership and consultancy, including clinical supervision.
- Develop and deliver education, training, and development programs for staff and other agencies.
- Conduct research and service evaluation to inform practice and improve outcomes.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- First level Registered Nurse.
- Recognised teaching qualification.
- Postgraduate qualification at Masters level or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience of working within areas relevant to designated team.
- Experience of working therapeutically with adults of all ages.
- Substantial experience in a nursing leadership role.
