We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality, Health & Safety Manager to join our team at Vibe Recruit Limited. As a world leader in the Engineering industry, we manufacture materials handling equipment and are looking for a professional who can ensure our high standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the Company's H&S/Quality policies and procedures are always adhered to.
  • Carry out risk assessments and consider how risks could be reduced.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents and produce reports.
  • Keep up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and any developments that affect the employer's industry.
  • Advise on a range of specialist areas, e.g. fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, etc.
  • Lead in-house training with managers and employees regarding H&S and quality management.
  • Maintain the company's ISO 9001 accreditation and implement improvements where identifiable and appropriate.
  • Assist with non-conformance investigations.
  • Work closely with the manufacturing, design and sales departments, on process validation, control, and procedural improvements.
  • Investigate quality issues, understand component interaction, drive to root cause and implement corrective actions.
  • Work with suppliers and internal departments to improve the overall end to end process.
  • Manage the calibration of instruments used in manufacture, validation, & inspection.
  • Internal auditing/preparing reports to evaluate effectiveness of quality systems.
  • Provide support for customers in terms of complaint handling, customer returns and ongoing quality support.
  • Carry out first article, interim and final inspection of products as required.
  • Undertake dimensional checks as and when required within the manufacturing/assembly areas.
