Clinical Specialist in Interventional Radiology

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Radiologist to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist in interventional radiology to contribute to the development of our services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, leading multidisciplinary teams, and participating in clinical governance and research activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialist interventional services, including the development of interventional oncology services
- Contributing to the vascular hybrid suite in Glan Clwyd Hospital
- Participating in on-call rotas and teaching of radiology trainees, undergraduate students, and other hospital staff
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- Fully qualified GMC registration and specialist registration for the specialty or CCST within 6 months of interview date
- Experience in interventional radiology, including training and experience in cross-sectional imaging
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to lifelong learning
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is estimated at £83,000-£121,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements, on-call tele-radiology, and opportunities for professional development.
