Clinical Specialist in Palliative Care

We are recruiting a Clinical Specialist in Palliative Care to join our Occupational Therapy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of community palliative patients, developing and implementing best practices to improve patient outcomes, and supervising junior staff.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of community palliative patients, providing clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Develop and implement best practices to improve patient outcomes, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Supervise junior staff, providing formal supervision and completion of annual appraisals.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience working within community services, with excellent communication and leadership skills. A strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practice is essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
What We OfferThis role offers a competitive salary of £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience. As part of the NHS, you will also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
