The Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medicine Specialist to join their team at the Glan Clwyd District General Hospital. As an Emergency Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing medical care to patients presenting with acute conditions, including trauma, complex medical presentations, critical illness, and paediatric emergencies. You will work closely with the inpatient medical, paediatric, critical care, radiology, and surgical specialty teams to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes.

This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year's experience in Emergency Medicine or General Medicine, as well as wide experience in dealing with acute medical emergencies and injuries.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include study leave of up to 10 days per year, funded by the hospital, as well as access to APLS, ALS, and ATLS training courses.

Applicants must be committed to Training of Medical Staff, Nursing staff, Medical Students and Paramedic colleagues, and have evidence of ability to communicate effectively in English with patients and Colleagues verbally and in writing. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.
