Band 6 Specialist Social Worker Position

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a full-time specialist social worker to join our North Wales Perinatal Mental Health Service team.

About the Opportunity:

This is a unique chance to apply your skills in complex mental health, working with women and parents experiencing upper moderate and severe conditions.

You will offer guidance and support to the team on social work matters, including safeguarding and professional development.

Liaising with social work and local authority colleagues across the Health Board and further afield as necessary.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver assessments, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
  2. Work closely with safeguarding professionals across the health board as required.
  3. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including social work and local authority colleagues.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
