Job Title: Complex Needs Practitioner - Gambling

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Complex Needs Practitioner to join our team at Recovery Focus. As a key member of our outreach team, you will work with individuals who are struggling with gambling-related issues, providing holistic support and guidance to help them achieve positive outcomes.

About the Role:

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and empathy. You will work closely with clients to identify their needs and develop personalized support plans, addressing issues such as employment, family dynamics, exploitation, physical and emotional health, and domestic abuse.

As a Complex Needs Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing screening, co-produced assessment, and psychosocial interventions to support clients in achieving their goals
  • Developing and implementing integrated care plans that address the complex needs of clients
  • Working collaboratively with voluntary and statutory agencies, health professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and outcomes
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience of working with clients in addictions or social care settings
  • Knowledge of primary, secondary, and outreach settings, as well as the functional model
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office
  • A flexible approach, with a willingness to work across the community and within multi-agency partnership settings
