Job Title: Complex Needs Practitioner - Gambling

Salary: £26,544 - £28,640 per annum

Location: Telford and Shropshire

We are seeking a self-confident and energetic individual with a good understanding of gambling, substance misuse, and health-related issues to provide a vital support service for individuals with gambling-related needs.

As a Complex Needs Practitioner - Gambling, you will work flexibly across the community and within multi-agency partnership settings on an outreach basis. Your role will involve engaging people in various interventions using a person-centred approach, addressing holistic support needs, and empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience, and achieve positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing screening, co-produced assessment, psychosocial interventions, integrated and outcome-focused care planning, after-care support, and onward transition to other services as required
  • Working with a caseload of complex cases requiring a case co-ordination approach, completing all recording and case management administration accurately and promptly
  • Liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies, health professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery

We have two positions available covering both Telford and Shropshire. A driving licence and access to a car are desirable due to the geographical area of the role.

This is a permanent full-time role requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week.
