We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our client's Whybrow branch. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving the commercial property management side of the business forward.
Whybrow, a reputable company with a rich history dating back to 1985, boasts a strong directorship and an impressive client database. As part of our client's group, Whybrow operates across various property domains, including residential agency, commercial ventures, lettings, financial services, professional survey work, new builds, and land development.
This integration presents a unique opportunity to leverage the group's extensive database of 130,000 contacts. We are looking for an individual with a solid understanding of relevant commercial legislation, including Landlord and Tenant Act law, and experience with commercial property software.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking property inspections, managing works and contractors, tracking and chasing rent collection and arrears, managing and reconciling service charges, and maintaining and updating property records.
The main Whybrow office is based in Colchester, and the role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm. Once fully competent in the role and after successfully completing the probation period, two days hybrid working will be available.
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 pro rata, depending on experience, as well as a car allowance, career progression opportunities, a training and development programme, a health and wellbeing programme, pension enrolment, and an attractive holiday allowance with additional days for achieving targets and length of service.
