Job Title: Property Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team at Kings Permanent Recruitment for Estate Agents & Financial Services Professionals. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential property portfolio, including maintenance, property management, and deposit resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure gas safety checks are up to date and electrical safety checks are performed regularly.
  • Arrange inventories, check-in, and check-out appointments, and advise utility companies of meter readings.
  • Coordinate estimates and undertake repairs by contractors, negotiate and coordinate renewal contracts, and draft final statements of repairs for accounts to process.
  • Manage day-to-day correspondence, tenant referencing, and monitoring processes via referencing agencies, and prepare tenancy agreements.
  • Sending EPC instructions via website.
Requirements:
  • A calm and unflappable person with strength of character, able to deal with issues such as return of deposits or repairs required to a property.
  • A systematic approach with strong administrative skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Secretarial skills would be beneficial, allowing the applicant to generate their own letters, with longer reports being dictated and compiled by other personnel if necessary.
