About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Manager to join our team at haart Estate Agents in Chelmsford. As a Property Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to both landlords and tenants, ensuring that properties meet all regulatory health and safety standards, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Inspections and Maintenance
    • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
    • Coordinate with contractors to manage maintenance and repair issues
  • Tenant Management
    • Negotiate tenancy extensions and renewals
    • Resolve rental arrears and eviction requests
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Process deposit returns and complete check-in and check-out procedures
    • Manage inventory reports and ensure accurate records
  • Client Relationships
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants
    • Respond to client inquiries and resolve complaints
Requirements
  • A Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle
  • Previous experience in a Property Manager role or customer-facing and/or administrative roles
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of £22,000 to £31,500 per year, dependent on experience
  • Up to £5,400 in capped commission (in addition to basic salary)
  • A further £2,725 uncapped commission target (in addition to basic salary)
