Job Title: Property Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team at Command Recruitment. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring that they are maintained to the highest standards and that our clients receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial properties, including residential agency, commercial ventures, lettings, financial services, professional survey work, new builds, and land development.
  • Liaise with clients and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Have experience of commercial property software and be able to use it to manage property records and track rent collection and arrears.
  • Deal with landlord and tenant issues, including disputes and negotiations.
  • Undertake property inspections to ensure that properties are being maintained to the highest standards.
  • Manage works and contractors to ensure that properties are repaired and maintained efficiently.
  • Track and chase rent collection and arrears to ensure that clients receive timely payments.
  • Maintain and fully update property records to ensure that they are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the department, including managing staff and resources.
Requirements:
  • Have an understanding and experience of relevant commercial legislation, including Landlord and Tenant Act law.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Have a strong understanding of commercial property management and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
