Responsibilities

As a primary class teacher, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching key stage 1 students with special educational needs, specifically autism.
  • Leading a team of teaching assistants to ensure the class runs smoothly.
  • Planning and delivering effective lessons to small groups of students.
  • Supporting students with personal care tasks, such as nappies and toilet training.

You will also have access to specialist facilities such as our therapy pool and sensory rooms, creating unique and inspiring environments for our students.

The estimated salary for this position is £32,082 - £49,389 per annum, depending on experience (Teacher Pay Scales apply).
