About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Community Mental Health Clinician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services to service users and their families, working in an identified adult community mental health pathway.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex caseload and be responsible for clinical and caseload supervision of other team members where identified.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions, following an agreed care plan, to an identified group of people experiencing mental health-related difficulties.
  • Operate as a care coordinator for a defined caseload of service users.
  • Work in an identified adult community mental health pathway, with the flexibility of working across pathways, dependent on skill and service need.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • Registered Mental Health Clinician and registered and active on NMC/HCPC register.
  • Ability to use computers and other information technology as required.

Experience

  • Have extensive post-registration experience.
  • Have previous experience of working in the community with non-dementia-related mental health.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Have knowledge of current initiatives impacting on the service.
  • Be able to lead on assessments by telephone confidently and competently.
  • Can demonstrate the skills required to work within and across teams and professional boundaries.
