We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our existing clients, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 150 accounts within a designated territory. You will be involved in menu planning and upselling within these established clients, in addition to developing new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
  3. Work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  5. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue.

Requirements:

  1. Proven track record in sales, preferably in the foodservice and catering sector.
  2. Strong business development skills and drive to achieve new business.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
  5. Knowledge of the foodservice industry and market trends, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
