Job Opportunity: Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager - Food to Foodservice

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager to develop a portfolio of accounts from one of our regional depots, focusing on menu planning, upselling, and new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, including Restaurants, Hotels, Pubs, and Public Sector establishments.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry connections and market knowledge.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  4. Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  5. Meet or exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth and expanding the company's market share.

Requirements:

  1. Proven sales experience in the foodservice and catering sector, with a strong track record of success.
  2. Excellent business development skills, with a drive to achieve new business and expand existing relationships.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  4. Ability to work independently, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation.
  5. Knowledge of the foodservice industry, including market trends and competitor activity.
