FinTech RS is seeking a highly skilled Tendering Specialist to support our client in Westhill, Aberdeenshire on a Permanent, Full Time basis. This role offers an opportunity to develop experience and skills within the Tendering process, from receipt through to consolidation, submission and award.

Main duties include:

  1. Developing a complete, accurate and optimized cost estimate, ensuring all inputs are approved and delivered in line with guidelines and tender schedule.
  2. Distributing the Invitation To Tender review matrix, consolidating clarifications for return to client, and ensuring all subsequent tender bulletins and clarification responses are received, distributed and reviewed.
  3. Developing the deliverables matrix and supporting the approval and delivery of all necessary deliverables.
  4. Maintaining an effective interface with internal and external stakeholders, including regional Tendering teams and Management.
  5. Drafting internal tender authorisation papers, presentations and documents, including presenting or supporting presentations to Management.
  6. Controlling the efficient performance of the tender through strict adherence to the tender schedule, action tracking and close out, and facilitating gate review meetings.
  7. Preliminary screening of risk and qualifications register with the Tender Lead, consolidating input from the technical departments.
  8. Contributing to the maintenance of all tendered data records, supporting management analysis/forecasting and tender benchmarking.
  9. Handing over awarded project estimates to the Cost Controllers.

Suitable candidates should have:

  1. Previous experience in a Tendering focused role or other relevant commercial/technical experience.
  2. Effective communication and time management skills, with the ability to meet deliverables within time constraints.
  3. A thorough approach with analytical skills to consolidate, challenge, review and present confidently all elements of the tender costing.
  4. Commitment to the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity, with strict adherence to the Company tendering processes.
  5. Commercial awareness and numeracy, with the ability to work with detail and accuracy.
  6. Enhanced planning and organisation skills, with the ability to identify and effectively prioritise workload to meet multiple deadlines.
  7. Ability to develop and adapt to role requirements, demonstrating an interest in personal development.
  8. Commitment to continuous improvement and identification of efficient work methods and processes.
  9. Willingness and ability to travel for short assignments within the UK and globally.

Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
