About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and be able to identify issues and provide solutions for the management, organisation and delivery of essential administrative processes related to education programmes.

The key areas to address are quality of information and documentation, compliance with University regulations, programme content, and management of assessments process. The post holder will design and implement systems related to quality process and tracking of information required for professional bodies.

About You

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have administrative experience, ideally within the field of Quality Assurance within the field of Higher Education. Experience of developing procedures is desirable, as well as the ability to inform decision making.

About the School of Engineering and Materials Science

This post is within the School of Engineering and Materials Science, a large School with 110 academics and a similar number of postdoctoral research staff. There are around 1000 undergraduate and taught postgraduate students and 220 PhD students. These are supported by an administrative and technical staff team of 45.
