About the Role

The Wolfson Institute of Population Health at Queen Mary University of London is seeking a Data Management Specialist to support the development and maintenance of its clinical trials database management service.

This role will involve working with the Cancer Prevention Trials Unit (CPTU) to design, develop, and implement new databases in REDCap, ensuring quality assurance in accordance with clinical trial protocols. The successful candidate will also test new processes and systems for managing data capture within clinical trials.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new databases in REDCap
  • Implement quality assurance measures in line with clinical trial protocols
  • Test and validate new processes and systems for data capture

The ideal candidate will have experience in data management systems and databases, proficiency in computer system validations, and a good understanding of current regulations governing the conduct of clinical research and data.

About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about data management and has excellent problem-solving skills.

A competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per annum is offered, commensurate with experience.
