About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate and resourceful individual to fill the role of Crisis Intervention Assistant at Coast Mental Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting youth and young adults in crisis situations.

In this role, you will be responsible for connecting with youth who are experiencing crisis, navigating and liaising with services on their behalf, and providing support and guidance to help them navigate the system. You will also work closely with the team to develop and implement programs that promote holistic healing and community engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of crisis intervention techniques and be able to provide culturally sensitive support. You will work in a collaborative environment with our team to develop and implement programs that promote resilience and well-being.

Job Expectations

  • Assist youth in crisis situations, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Navigate and liaise with services on behalf of youth
  • Work closely with the team to develop and implement programs that promote holistic healing and community engagement
  • Provide psycho-social rehabilitation services and connect clients with community resources

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Certificate in Crisis Intervention required
  • Experience working with youth in a crisis situation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits

$31.28 per hour, plus benefits package
