Job Description

This Crisis Intervention Advocate role at ENGINEERINGUK is an exciting opportunity for someone to make a real difference in the lives of victims of domestic abuse. As a key member of our team, you will provide crisis intervention services, develop individual safety plans, and offer advocacy, emotional, and practical support.

You will be working closely with a dedicated team of professionals who share your passion for supporting victims of domestic abuse. Together, you will strive to provide the best possible service to those who need it most.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing individual safety plans
  • Providing advocacy, emotional, and practical support
  • Exploring legal and civil options, housing, health, and finance
Requirements
  • A strong understanding of domestic abuse, including its impact, risk assessment, safety planning, and risk management
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of civil and criminal justice remedies for victims of domestic abuse
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advisory skills
  • Ability to manage a complex caseload and prioritize work effectively
Salary and Benefits

This role comes with a salary of £26,010 per annum, 28 days annual leave, pension, sick pay allowances, maternity and paternity payments, discounts, and wellbeing support.
