Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with autism, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and behaviour challenges in a classroom setting
  • Help students understand and process their emotions and struggles, and support their emotional well-being
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation, focusing on special educational needs

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs or challenging behaviour
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands
